SEVANATHA Urban Resource Centre has been recognized as an active partner of PET Plastic collection process in Sri Lanka and awarded by the Eco Spindles (Pvt) Ltd, in appreciation of our efforts in PET Plastic Collection and working towards a cleaner and greener Sri Lanka.

This award was presented at their “Waste 2 Value” App launching event which was held at Hilton Colombo Residences, on Global Recycling Day; 18th March 2021. Mr. K. A. Jayaratne, President of SEVANATHA has received the award on behalf of the organization.

Through the launch of “Waste 2 Value” App it is expected to encourage responsible plastic recycling among the public and further consolidate the recyclable waste collection initiatives within the country. The “Waste 2 Value” App is now available on Google Play Store for Android and App Store for iOS. Those who are interested on this App can download it and contribute to a cleaner environment as a responsible individual.
