A Staff Member of SEVANATHA participated in a training workshop on Project Monitoring and Assessment from 9th to 11th July 2014, in London

The currently implemented Colombo Community Empowerment project supported by the UK Aid through Homeless International UK, has obtaining funding support from the Common Wealth Foundation in UK for extension above project for another two years from year 2015. As part of the Common Wealth project support, it has provided the above training opportunity for the Acting Project Manager of the HI project.

The purpose of the workshop was to;

  • Grantees satisfied with their log frame for the Commonwealth Foundation funded project
  • Grantees are equipped to develop a monitoring and evaluation plan for the Commonwealth Foundation funded project
  • Grantees learn more about the Commonwealth Foundation and the grants program

Workshop content;

  • Understanding of results and knowledge cycle
  • Theory of changes
  • Understanding of logic model and log frame
  • Usefulness of log frame
  • Evaluation approaches
  • Monitoring and Evaluation Plan

Our participant has successfully completed her training and currently engages in implementation of the relevant project activities.
